Lifetime summary:
16303 Miles
7431.6 EV Miles
624.2 Regen Miles
Energy Use: 46.3 MPG
Brake Score: 87%
336 kWh
351.58 gal

As you can imagine, this is VERY disappointing for me! If you subtract the EV miles, this means that, over the past 7 months, my C-Max Energi is getting an average of 25 MPG?!?!

On top of this, my SYNC system is completely unusable. The GPS says I'm almost 2 blocks to the right of where I'm at. It freezes and "performing system maintenance" at least 2 times per day. My phone won't pair with the system about 90% of the time.

The a/c vents spray some sort of liquid (hoping it's water) when I push the MAX A/C button.

AND

The EV battery stopped charging. The blue ring lights up for 30 seconds, then... nothing. If I check on the iPhone app, it states that there's a "charge fault".

My EV has averaged 18 to 20 miles with a/c and 20 to 23 with a/c off. My first extended trip was almost 800 miles, mostly freeway, and I averaged 42 MPG with no plug in opportunities other that when we left home. Around town I have managed to do close to 90% on EV by plugging in at home and at work. My owners manual suggests not checking MPG until there is at least 1,000 miles on the engine. I am just at that point now though the odometer says 2,700 miles driven. I love this car, it really is fun to drive and play. I do not suggest it for anyone technologically challenged.

my average mpg over the 114,657.0 on the odometer of my 2014 c-max energi is 53.084mpg. (i record the odometer & gallons put in at every fuel stop).

I have extremely long commutes (between 80 mi and 170 mi/day!).

I'm able to plug in at work so, I use the full battery twice each day.

I use the cruise control as much as possible, and I'm extremely careful as to when I use the "auto" and "ev later" modes (I almost never use the ev now mode, it appears identical to the auto mode).

most days I'm setting the cruise at 65mph on the freeway, unless I'm late, then I set it to 75mph. that difference in speed has a huge impact on mpg.
