Was thinking of buying a replacement, well really a second, of the 120v chargers that came with my Energi. I want to leave one at work, where I charge everyday in a secure lot and one at home, where I charge every evening. Figured that would be simpler than plugging/unplugging/wrapping the cord, etc. I brought in my existing charger to the parts dept at my dealership. $758 + tax ($826 total)! Yes, I laughed when they told me the cost. That'd have to be a whole lot of extra convenience to justify that cost.

I'm still considering a 240v system at home, but I think the cost, give the unit cost and the installation cost may be higher than I can justify.

Anyone know of any significantly cheaper 120v solutions?

Go to e-bay and search "Bosch Power Max EVSE Charging Station"
Only one left and it's 440.00 with shipping. There are others!
Maybe get on a bid? Might get it cheaper.
