I am curious about something. I always run my energi in EV later mode since I only have 3 kwh capacity left so its useless to me. I keep the EV batter charged in case I do want to use it but I notice that when running in EV later, I see the EV battery indicator on the dash drop slightly and in over a week of driving entirely in EV later I have to recharge the EV battery.

What is drawing from the EV battery in EV later driving mode?

Dealer is useless as they have no clue on how to work on this car. They are lost and service manager calls me to ask me how things are supposed to work as I seem to understand this car better than they do. Hard to own a car that the service departments cant work on.

Hi gary. I'm wondering if you found the solution to this problem. I really don't know what might be causing your battery to lose charge while in EV later mode. I don't really use it in that same way, but my understanding was that the engine would keep the battery charged at that level while in EV later mode. How many kilometers does your range estimator usually say when your battery is fully charged for ev only?
