In January of 2013, Ford sold 338 C-max Energis, and had been selling up to 1000 a month at the end of 2012.
According to CJ O’Donnell, marketing and strategy manager for Ford Electrified Vehicles, “We had a strong launch and are pleased with the overall reception of the C-MAX launch campaign [...] But this is just a start; we intend to take a much larger share of the hybrid market.”
